In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the financial health of the Popeyes Singapore brand.
Job Description:
As the Accountant for Popeyes Singapore, you'll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of our financial records and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations. You'll work closely with the Manager and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient accounting operation.
- Daily Accounting Tasks:Process accounts receivable and payable transactions.
- Maintain the general ledger and perform bank reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting:Ensure completeness and accuracy of all sales and liability transactions.
- Assist with month-end financial closing according to established timelines.
- Prepare clear and accurate management reports for the Popeyes Singapore brand.
- Update and maintain balance sheet schedules on a timely basis.
- Additional Responsibilities:Assist with annual financial audits and tax return preparation.
- Support other departments with their accounting and finance needs.
- Be adaptable and willing to take on additional tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Only Singaporean and Permanent Residents
- At least 2-3 years of experience handling a full set of accounts.
- Strong understanding of Singapore Accounting Standards (Singapore FRS) and relevant tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
