Job Description

P&G Analytics and Insights Manager will directly influence business strategy, product design, pricing, media investments, and much more. We use our boundless curiosity to discover what consumers want, why they want it & how we can influence them through immersive exploration, in-depth analysis, and good research.

You’ll need to mine multiple sources of data, derive meaningful insights, and translate sophisticated results or algorithms into simple conclusions that will empower the business to take action to win with consumers. You will lead the thinking on understanding people and uncovering insights, and serve as a resource to the broader community. You will build internal training to enable our business to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, that explore and understand our consumers’ experiences and unmet needs.

This role reports to Country Analytics & Insights Leader

Responsibilities Of The Role

  • Deliver analytic insights in several business domains including consumer, customer, digital, market & share performance.
  • With a combination of analytical expertise, data and system knowledge and business insight, you’ll answer and anticipate critical business questions and opportunities and deliver insights to the business in ways that make significant impacts.
  • Learn and develop mastery in research techniques and analysis approaches
  • Demonstrate use of data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Excel) grasp the business insights from our mountain of data
  • Identify growth opportunities on the business, or potential issues in existing business and recommend specific plans
  • Work closely with the multifunctional partners to develop winning strategies, communication, and marketing plans
  • Translate consumer expertise to enable customer team leaders and help brands win at retail.
  • Build analytic capabilities to grow your organization’s knowledge.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor/master’s degree in any fields with an excellent academic background (preferably with some business, marketing or quantitative focus)
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience (preferably in FMCG) e.g. Experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis with analytics techniques to solve defined business problems
  • Must be able to use PowerBI, Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft Excel
  • Data management and visualization skills / tools (SQL, KNIME, Spotfire or similar) is a plus
  • Excellent forward-thinking, strategic and courageous leadership skills to drive innovation and brand growth
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, able to connect multiple data points to further generate new insights
  • Strong ability to communicate and teamwork capabilities
  • Passion about discovering new things and ability to learn quickly.
