About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager / Director to join our team in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of the market research industry. As a Sales Manager / Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies / opportunities by identifying new clients, maintaining and growing existing clients and achieve our ambitious growth target for (Indonesia/Philippines/Vietnam).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for new business development for Southeast Asia countries
  • New business development shall include, but not restricted to
  1. Leads generation
  2. Pipeline management
  3. Work closely with country representatives to expand and develop the client base
  4. Handle daily sales inquiries and preparation of quotations and proposals for clients
  5. Manage weekly sales progress and report to senior management
  6. Follow up on potential bids and address sales issues from commissioned projects.
  7. Presenting Rakuten Insight's services and products professionally to clients
  8. Communicate with project teams across different countries effectively
  9. Develop sales analysis and strategic business development plan to achieve sales target
  10. Identify new business opportunities and pro-actively approach new clients
  11. Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects to the highest quality
  • Maintain and grow current list of clients
  • You may be required to oversee junior staff
  • Establish local vendor partnerships to effectively meet the demands of various offices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in Market Research and/or Data Analytics, with a proven track record of independently meeting sales targets.
  • Extensive experience in client relationship development and management
  • Good network of potential clients across Southeast Asia and have the ability to create new leads from cold searching/calling/targeting
  • Managing and achieving the assigned revenue target
  • Hands-on research project experience such as writing proposal, questionnaire design, fieldwork and data processing experience will be an added advantage
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Good Understanding of sales & marketing
  • Proficient in Verbal/Written English as you will be working closely with stakeholders from across SEA
  • Some technical knowledge on web/database/statistical application
