About The Team

The Strategy, Planning and Analytics (SP&A) – SeaMoney team sits within the wider Regional BI & Planning team. SP&A’s mandate comes from the Group President and the Leadership team. Our focus is on providing insights and analyses to support the SeaMoney leadership team in making sound decisions to develop the three branches of our SeaMoney businesses – Payments, Consumer Lending, Digital Banking. We collaborate closely with Regional and Local teams on a variety of topics covering two main streams of work: Business-As-Usual (BAU) items and strategic projects.

Job Description

We are looking to hire a team lead for our SeaMoney team to contribute to the following work:

Business-As-Usual: Lead the preparation of executive-level meeting materials and agenda items for Group President and Leadership team as part of regular analytical support/ updates on the SeaMoney business.

Strategic Projects

  • Lead strategic projects/ deep-dives into key aspects of Payments, Consumer Lending and Digital Banking covering topics like new opportunity identification, market entry & strategy, profitability and risk of new and existing financial products, competitor benchmarking
  • Lead the coordination of insights/ joint projects with Banking, Consumer Lending and other teams to identify new opportunities/ drive measurable improvements in our performance
  • Team development: Exhibiting leadership on projects and financial services topics, fostering a collaborative spirit, contributing to team output, and mentoring and developing team members

Requirements

  • Candidates with 5 or more years of full-time experience in consulting and/ or in-house strategy with market knowledge/ experience in financial services
  • Passion for and proven track record in complex problem solving using quantitative and qualitative techniques
  • Proficiency in our preferred communication and analytical tools: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SQL, etc. with outstanding written and verbal communication skills to deliver exemplary client-ready output
  • Strong process and stakeholder management skills – or willingness to improve them in a dynamic environment
  • Self-starter who can work independently and is motivated to navigate challenges but isn’t shy to ask for guidance where necessary, while being a team player that thrives in group settings
