This includes localising content, managing region-specific digital campaigns, and ensuring that all digital marketing activities resonate with the diverse audiences within these markets.

  • Targeted Regional Campaign Execution:
  • Implement and manage digital marketing campaigns specifically designed for key APAC markets, using tools like Baidu Analytics, Naver, Tencent Cloud
  • Adapt global campaigns to regional preferences, leveraging local platforms and trends.
  • In-Depth Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
  • Conduct detailed market analysis to understand the unique digital landscape of each APAC country.
  • Develop market-specific strategies utilising the appropriate regional platforms such as WeChat, KakaoTalk etc.
  • Content Localization and Management:
  • Oversee the localization of global marketing content, ensuring it is culturally and linguistically appropriate for each market.
  • Manage a content calendar tailored to regional events, holidays, and cultural nuances.
  • Performance Monitoring with Local Insights:
  • Utilise Google Analytocs to monitor campaign performance.
  • Analyse data to gain insights into local user behaviour and preferences, adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Collaboration with Local Partners and Teams:
  • Work closely with local agencies or partners to enhance marketing efforts and ensure authenticity in communication.
  • Foster strong relationships with local teams to ensure alignment with regional marketing goals.
  • Social Media and Digital Channel Optimization:
  • Manage and optimise regional social media accounts, using platforms popular in the APAC region like Sina Weibo and WeChat.
  • Stay updated with the latest digital trends in APAC to effectively engage with local audiences.

Experience, Skills And Professional Attributes

Experience Required for the Role

  • Relevant Digital Marketing Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, specifically in a B2B environment, working with audiences in Japan or mainland China.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in executing digital campaigns that have led to measurable business growth, particularly in markets like mainland China and Japan.
  • Regional Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the digital landscape, customer behaviour, and marketing regulations in key APAC markets.
  • Technical Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with B2B digital marketing tools widely used in APAC, such as Tencent Cloud and WeChat.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing multiple digital marketing projects simultaneously, coordinating with various teams and stakeholders.

Skills Required for the Role

  • Digital Marketing Skills: Advanced skills in SEO/SEM, content marketing, social media management, and email marketing specific to B2B audiences.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign data and derive insights for strategy refinement.
