Our client is a Global MNC Premium Consumer Goods company who has been established for more than 50 years in the market. They have a strong presence across US, Europe and ASIA. Currently, they are looking to hire a Senior Sales Director to oversee the entire ASIA region and to develop long term strategic goals for the business. Michael Page is partnering with them on a retained basis to hire this role.
Job Description
You will be reporting directly to the Regional Managing Director, your main job responsibilities include:
- To be responsible for the full P&L of the region including budgeting and forecasting and to achieve strategic goals
- Partnering closely with different functions such as supply chain, operations, human resources, marketing and finance in driving outcomes for the business across the region
- To motivate and manage distributors/key accounts with a strong focus on the high-end and new product offerings
- To in-still a constructive culture across team and provide strong strategic leadership across the region
In order to be successful in the role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in business or any related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in Sales and distributor management within the FMCG/Luxury goods industry across regional markets
- Strong experience in people leadership and a strategic thinker
- Experience across all channels (key accounts, distributor management, e-commerce, on-premise, private client)
This is a replacement headcount, created in a business that has a strong ambition to establish their brand within SEA market. We are looking for someone who has strong knowledge and experience in Sales leadership and distributor management within the FMCG/wine/luxury industry and someone who can work independently. The compensation and benefits for this role will be in line with the market.
