Sales Manager for Non-Direct Business

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth through the development of Non-DB channels, including retail and e-commerce marketplaces. Key responsibilities include managing distributors, retailers, and EC mall partners to achieve NSV and OI targets, overseeing trade spending (rebates, promotions), and building strong customer relationships. The role involves identifying new sales opportunities in Singapore, with potential responsibilities extending to Hong Kong and Malaysia.

This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of sales and channel strategies, providing clear, measurable KPIs for direct reports and defining objectives during the planning phase.
  • Collaborate closely with appointed distributors to execute sales plans, build strong relationships, and manage their KPIs while ensuring adherence to the overall plan.
  • Monitor and control promotion spending, visualizing and tracking external market trends and internal execution by customer and store.
  • Drive key nationwide activities, including regular tracking of numeric distribution, home shelf share (Planogram), and fostering preferential treatment from retailers to develop JBP, attractive promotions, and shopper insights.
  • Set clear performance measurements based on internal and customer sales objectives, providing retail audit data or relevant research during monthly customer review meetings.
  • Manage vendors to develop POSM, channel-specific mechanics, and premiums for each campaign, ensuring timely approval and submission of budgets for all promotional activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare supplement sector, with a strong background in both MT and GT channels and proven success in exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing, with strong leadership and team management skills, capable of influencing at all levels within and outside the organization.
  • Expertise in FMCG business, with hands-on experience in Spaceman, category management, Nielsen, and market/category trend analysis.
  • Strong financial understanding, including P&L management, with advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills, with fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure, demonstrating critical thinking, strong execution, and a team-oriented approach.
