You will be joining a world-class Marketing Communications team responsible for our globally distributed branded content, which generates 1-2 million daily impressions on our social media alone.

As a Senior Global Communications Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in providing strategic direction for Secretlab. You will serve as a key leader within the Global Communications team, reporting directly to the Director of Global Communications. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who excels in innovation, performance optimization, and spearheading special projects aimed at driving growth and enhancing the organization's global communications footprint. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-impact initiatives and a deep understanding of global communications trends and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative communications strategies that support the organization's growth and performance goals, focusing on global markets.
  • Lead special projects that enhance the organization's global presence and reputation, including but not limited to digital transformations, high-visibility brand campaigns, and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies. Regularly report on performance, insights, and strategic adjustments to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the communications function.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall organizational objectives and to leverage synergies across marketing, public relations, and digital communications.
  • Serve as a thought leader on global communications trends, bringing forward-thinking strategies and technologies to the organization.
  • Mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Influence the development and execution of a global content strategy that supports brand positioning and growth objectives. Ensure content is compelling, relevant, and adapted for regional markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field; Master’s degree is a bonus.
  • Portfolio of communications initiatives showcasing growth for your brand.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in communications, with at least 1 year in a leadership role focusing on global initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and implementing high-impact communications projects with measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of global communications practices, digital media trends, and the ability to leverage emerging technologies.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with experience in performance measurement and optimization.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects, teams, and tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve issues, roadblocks, and challenges during project execution.
  • Demonstrates time management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and within deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and shifting deadlines.
