Role: Head of Global Design (Co-Founder)

We are seeking an experienced design leader to join us as the Head of Global Design. This role requires someone with deep expertise in UX/UI, an eye for aesthetics, and a passion for creating seamless user experiences. You will work closely with the CEO and partners to bring product concepts to life, from early prototypes to final designs, and lead a global team in shaping the design language across Unstuck’s portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall UX/UI strategy and execution across all Unstuck products and services.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and partners to conceptualize, prototype, and develop innovative product designs.
• Create and manage wireframes, prototypes, and final design deliverables using Figma and other industry-standard tools.
• Ensure consistency in design language, user experience, and interface design across multiple platforms and products.
• Oversee a global design team, driving creativity and ensuring alignment with product and business goals.
• Manage the workflow for product design, from concept through to development, ensuring efficient delivery.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate on designs to enhance the user experience.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, incorporating best practices into Unstuck’s design methodologies.
• Mentor and support the growth of the design team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in Figma and other relevant design tools.
• Proven track record in designing for web, mobile, and responsive platforms.
• Experience leading and managing design teams, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to translate complex concepts into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality design work.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a global team.
• A strategic mindset, with the ability to align design goals with broader business objectives.
• Experience in conducting user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a remote, global environment, with occasional travel for team meetups or client presentations.

Our internship program is designed for driven candidates interested in entrepreneurship and venture capital. The role is not just about gaining experience; it’s a potential stepping stone to a Co-Founder position within Unstuck.

Location:

• Fully remote to reduce candidate costs.
• Potential for relocation to Unstuck HQ for full-time employment after the internship.

Time Commitment:

• Up to 4 hours per day. We understand this is an unpaid internship, so flexibility is provided for other commitments.

Duration:

• The internship runs for 60 days, renewable up to 3 times, with the potential for a total of 6 months. This period allows for skill development and evaluation for a future co-founding role.
