Job Summary:

The role of the Deal Advisory Analyst Intern will be to support Senior Management and C-suite leaders in the BRCM Headquarters and will be responsible for overseeing selected business units under BRCM’s portfolio. You will be responsible for internal and external stakeholder management, relevant policy work, and commercial operations. Business Chinese fluency is mandatory, and real estate, consulting, and PE experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate viable investment opportunities that align with BRCM's strategic objectives, particularly within Southeast Asia and Cambodia.
  • Add high-quality deals to the deal pipeline, ensuring they meet the firm's investment criteria.
  • Track and report on the volume and quality of sourced deals each quarter, aiming to consistently expand and enhance the pipeline with qualified opportunities.
  • Produce detailed investment reports on companies within BRCM’s portfolio as well as those seeking joint ventures.
  • Analyze and present key performance indicators, financial health, and strategic fit of portfolio companies and potential joint venture candidates.
  • Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and provide actionable insights for senior management and investment committees.
  • Develop accurate and detailed financial models and valuations for potential investments and joint ventures, including cash flow projections and IRR calculations.
  • Ensure that all financial projections are delivered within agreed timelines and are benchmarked against actual outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Major in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or other specialization.
  • Previous experience in deals advisory, corporate finance, consulting, and the PE sector is preferred.
  • Business Chinese is mandatory
  • Demonstrated experience in deal sourcing, due diligence, and financial modeling.
  • Previous experience with Southeast Asian markets, particularly Cambodia, is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective report preparation and presentation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling software, and familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters).
