Role Overview: The Brand Director will oversee brand stewardship and strategic counsel for our government sector clients. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in managing large-scale government campaigns from ideation through to production and rollout. The ideal candidate will operate independently while leading client relationships and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Leadership: Champion the client's vision by delivering impactful, strategic, and creative work that aligns with their objectives and enhances their brand presence.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through the development of existing client relationships and acquisition of new business opportunities. Develop and present new business proposals to generate additional revenue.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a cross-functional team, providing supervision, delegation, coaching, and support to enhance team performance and capabilities.
- Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders. Support strategic planning and ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of creative work.
- Project Oversight: Oversee all aspects of campaign management, from initial briefing through to final execution. Ensure that all deliverables meet client standards and project objectives.
- Strategic Counsel: Provide strategic advice and insights to clients, leveraging industry knowledge and competitive analysis to inform communication recommendations and campaign strategies.
- Financial Management: Manage financial aspects of client accounts, including accurate costing, negotiating terms, and monitoring budgets and forecasts. Ensure that projects run profitably for the agency.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure clear and accurate client briefs, identify potential issues, and lead the team to develop client-acceptable solutions. Track and measure project effectiveness and quality standards.
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and new markets. Contribute to agency growth by exploring new client relationships and cross-selling opportunities.
- Agency Representation: Contribute to the agency's awards and accolades by producing high-quality, award-worthy campaigns.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Government Campaign Experience: Proven experience leading large-scale government campaigns in Singapore, from ideation through production and rollout.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of marketing and advertising agency operations, with familiarity in social channels, online campaign development, and social production.
- Project Management: Credible project management experience, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strategic Insight: Ability to understand competitive dynamics and develop effective communication strategies. Strong strategic and analytical skills.
- Experience: Minimum degree qualification and more than 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office and Keynote. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Mindset: Resilient, optimistic, and energetic with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Confident in navigating difficult conversations and selling new ideas.
