What is this role?

The Program Manager is responsible for the comprehensive oversight and coordination of various project aspects including setting project scope, creating detailed plans, and developing business cases.

You will manage finance processes, communicate with stakeholders, and oversee governance by leading meetings and tracking milestones. Ensuring supply chain deliverables are met and following up with action item owners are key duties.

Work with the program team located mostly within Asia, and manager in the US. The role is a one-year contract for a project in a MNC.

What you can expect to do?

  • Establish the project's scope, objectives, and outline how the project will be executed and governed (currently underway)
  • Create project plan that encompasses all Service Supply Chain scope for project (sourcing, vendor transitions, PLM, theatre Ops)
  • Create/drive business case development when needed, and perform cost/benefit analysis with support of subject-matter experts
  • Manage financial processes; Communicate impacts to budget, value capture, headwinds, tailwinds and more as needed to overall program, SCONE and Finance constituents
  • Manage all communications with stakeholders and project teams; Create content for executive updates as well as team meetings, workshops, etc
  • Create governance for the program; Set-up and lead team meetings, drive the agenda, manage participants, send meeting notes/minutes, create action tracker with milestones, owners, timelines and escalation path
  • Be focal point for overall Supply Chain program manager to ensure Service SC deliverables are included/updated
  • Follow up with action item owners to ensure closure of deliverables; Hold subject-matter experts accountable for delivering program objectives
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in managing projects, preferably in supply chain, IT or related fields (Required)
  • Strong understanding and experience with managing budgets, financial reporting, and cost/benefit analysis
  • Strong leadership skills to drive meetings and ensure accountability
  • Strong ability to work independently as a self-starter, while is also a team player
  • Ability to perform detailed analyses and develop business cases
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Adheres to the highest moral, ethical and legal standards to deliver an environment that promotes respect, innovation and creativity
  • Business level proficiency in English for clear communication
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
