Responsibilities:

  • Draft, vet facility letter, agreement and security documents
  • Instruct and liaise with the Bank’s external solicitors on various matters including non standard form facility and security documents, redemption, etc.
  • Review & check loan documentation to ensure credit terms comply with credit approvals and term sheets.
  • Ensure all conditions precedent are met before disbursement.
  • Review and ensure that all the responsibilities and operational aspects of agency roles are appropriately incorporated into the facility and security agreements when CIMB acts as Facility and/or Security Agent roles.
  • Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders such as credit risk management, legal, business units, to address documentation-related issues, to ensure each loan is delivered promptly & accurately without compromising controls;
  • Conduct periodic reviews of loan documentation files to identify deficiencies, enhance processing, and ensure adherence to establish standards;
  • To assist in cross-teams delivery for portfolio under Agency Desk & Complex Documentation Team;
  • Follow up with relationship managers / legal counsels / operations department on outstanding documentations / conditions subsequent;
  • Monitor and ensure receipt of insurance cover for collaterals held by the Bank. Work closely with Support Team to ensure timely renewal of insurance policies;
  • Safekeeping of security documents;
  • Trouble shooting for team-mates;
  • Take on task/projects or eqv., as & when assigned.

Requirements:

  • Min. Degree/ Diploma holder with at least 2 years of working experience
  • Possess analytic skills and is meticulous and able to work independently and team
  • Possess good interpersonal, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Preferred to have worked in banking or FI previously
