Job Purpose / Role:
Develop the Political Violence and Terrorism (PVT) portfolio in Asia by negotiating participation, pricing, and terms & conditions on new and renewal business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and execute the regional underwriting strategy for PVT in Allianz Commercial
- Underwrite profitable new and renewal business.
- Negotiate price and terms and conditions with insurance brokers.
- Working closely with our Distribution Management / Key Account Managers as well as other lines of business to identify a suitable pipeline and cross sell opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, cedants and clients.
- Support internal underwriting teams within Allianz Commercial.
- Work with your manager to identify personal development and training needs.
- Ensure accurate policy documentation and retention.
- A bachelor’s degree
- 2-3 years’ experience of Terrorism/PV business
- Good understanding of Terrorism/PV products and portfolio or willing to learn.
- A proactive approach to business and strong communication skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications
- Fluent in English
