About the Team
The Institute of Monetization Integrity (IMI) team is part of the Global Monetization Strategy and Operation (MSO) organization here at TikTok. As down-to-earth strategic partners with a holistic bird's eye view, our mission is to drive healthy and sustainable business growth by balancing risk, revenue, cost and experience across TikTok monetization products and the global markets that we operate.

The Monetization Integrity Strategist provides critical insights using research and analytics skills, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic initiatives forward. The team works hand-in-hand with integrity product and operation leaders to develop strategy in both APAC & global markets.

Responsibilities:
- Provide business insights to stakeholders through data analysis, relevant experience, competitor benchmark research, and make clear and actionable recommendations for business decision makers.
- Collect and analyse industrial leading practices related to different business lines
- Conduct user behavioural research to understand Monetization's strategy impacts on TikTok users
- Identify optimisation areas in existing policies, products, or process with a deep understanding of monetisation integrity business
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders at global level (Sales, Product, Engineers, Operations, Legal, GR, PR, etc) to develop scalable solutions and long-term strategies, as well as work towards consensus across the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree with 3-5 years experience or postgraduate with 3+ years of experience in user research, tech companies, consulting or think tank. Majoring in economics, politics, business analytics, philosophy, psychology, international development, business/public administration are preferred.
- Good understanding of or past experience in any one of the following areas is a plus: user research, management/risk/politics/tech consulting, international politics and/or international development organization, corporate strategy, legal or public affairs related to digital advertising, or global tech/internet company.
- Passionate about the Internet industry and willing to grow with the company in the process of learning by dealing with emerging challenges and integrity topics.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong research skills required to conduct research independently with appropriate methodologies.
- Strong data analytical skills required
- Familiarity with data processing tool SQL and visualisation tools such as Tableau preferred.
- Familiarity with survey design and focus group host preferred.
- Strong written skills preferred to tell a clear story based on research and make the argument concrete with logical thinking.
