On behalf of their client, they are in search of a proficient Legal and Compliance Counsel to become part of their growing team. This role presents an engaging opportunity to offer legal assistance and counsel on a range of corporate matters, whilst ensuring compliance with medical industry standards. This role is a 6months temp to perm contract role.
The successful candidate will have the privilege to interact with healthcare providers and government regulators across Asia (excluding China, Hong Kong, Taiwan). With office presence required 2-3 times a week, this position offers flexibility for those who value work-life balance.
As a Legal and Compliance Counsel, your role will be crucial in providing comprehensive legal support across the organisation. You will review a variety of contracts, provide expert advice on corporate matters, and ensure strict compliance with medical industry standards. Your ability to interact effectively with healthcare providers and government regulators will be vital in this role. Additionally, you will oversee compliance reporting and due diligence processes for engaging healthcare providers. Your expertise will also be essential in managing Asia's compliance issues, particularly in relation to AML, anti-competition, and anti-trust laws.
