JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Associate Director for Partnerships Development is responsible for identifying and pursuing new revenue-generating engagements and opportunities in the Southeast Asia region aligned with the ACCESS Health mission.

Responsibilities

1. Leading the overall business development workstream for the Southeast Asia office and work with the team to ensure revenue targets are reached.

2. Reviewing and updating the business development strategy for the Southeast Asia to ensure alignment with the growth strategy of ACCESS Health as a global organization.

3. Developing and updating a systematic system to scan requests for proposals and business opportunities across partner websites, networks and international development platforms.

4. Managing and reporting on a pipeline of opportunities for the Southeast Asia office.

5. Developing concept notes and proposals (from research to writing) for large foundations, multilateral organizations, and the private sector. Coordinating input from the technical teams within the Southeast Asia, India, and Middle-East team to respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) or put forward new concepts to respond to funders by 1) understanding the procurement and funding cycles of major organizations and 2) writing grant and other related proposals.

6. Developing ACCESS Health Southeast Asia’s strategic customer relationship management system and tools to manage interactions and relationships, and ensure that our network is streamlined with other ACCESS health offices.

7. Monitoring the regional healthcare environment closely on an ongoing basis and identify trends and emerging business opportunities on a proactive basis.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in business development with demonstrated experience in grant proposal writing and successfully procuring grants for non-profit organizations.

Qualifications and experience related to public health and health financing is highly preferred.

Skills and Competencies

· Advanced verbal communications and writing skills with a strong ability to develop proposals, briefers, and PowerPoint decks.

· Strong networking skills especially across the government, private sector, and various global health funders

· A strong understanding of the health and development sector in the region.

· Demonstrated experience with client management, with a keen sense of diplomacy and sensitivity to cross-cultural contexts.

· Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate a vision.

· Having an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability of risk management.

· Excellent strategic thinking, analytical and negotiation skills.
