Your new role

The Finance Executive will be a key player in managing the financial operations of the family office. Reporting to the CFO, this role involves overseeing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting investment decisions. The ideal candidate will be able to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.


Financial Management:
- Oversee and manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including journals, ledgers, and financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity.

Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for review by senior management.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

Investment Support:
- Support the evaluation and monitoring of investment opportunities and performance.
- Maintain and update records related to investments, including performance metrics and valuation.

Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Prepare documentation and support audits as required.
- Assist in maintaining internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets.

Administrative Duties:
- Coordinate with external service providers, including auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
- Manage administrative tasks related to financial operations, such as documentation and correspondence.

Project Support:
- Assist in special projects or initiatives as directed by senior management.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

What you'll need to succeed

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant financial experience, preferably in a family office or similar setting.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, including financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable Attributes:
- Professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
- Experience with investment analysis and portfolio management.
- Familiarity with Singapore financial regulations and compliance requirements.
