Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of new customers in existing multi-tenant warehouses, covering resource planning (space, staff, equipment) and preparing proposals.
  • Plan and optimize operational processes, warehouse layout, and WMS setup, including staff training on-site.
  • Manage projects or sub-projects, from initiation to go-live, ensuring timely communication of schedules and implementation details to relevant business units.
  • Implement standard warehousing processes and report on key operational KPIs.
  • Identify WMS implementation project owners and super users to ensure system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with controlling and accounting teams to improve operational and financial reporting.
  • Develop Excel tools to assist in warehouse calculations and planning models.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on system issues, working with stakeholders to improve performance.
  • Analyze best practices in logistics operations and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee customer and supplier implementations, including setting up new warehouses.
  • Provide commercial support through analysis and preparation of 3PL tenders/quotes, rate reviews, invoicing, and P&L reviews when necessary.
  • Serve as an escalation point for internal and external issues.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or Engineering
  • At least of 8 years of experience in logistics operations, particularly within a 3PL environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in mathematics and statistics, with an ability to apply strategic thinking.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented, resilient, and patient, with a proactive "can-do" attitude.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Passionate about delivering customer service excellence.
