The Finance and Accounting Analyst will play a crucial role in managing the company’s financial operations. Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Management:

  • Manage tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Develop and track financial metrics, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results, providing insights and recommendations.

Data Analysis & Tracking:

  • Implement and maintain systems for tracking financial performance and key business metrics.
  • Analyze sales data, cost structures, and profitability trends.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support marketing, sales, and operational strategies.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate financial data effectively.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting and financial processes.
  • Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve data accuracy and financial decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or data analysis, preferably in a startup or SME environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Excel.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
