Assembly Technician
Responsibilities:
· Assembles, wires, and adjusts prototype, pilot or production units using different levels of assembly documentation and a wide range of tools.
· Build instruments per configuration, work orders and integrate instruments with highest quality workmanship.
· Performs pretesting based on bath written and verbal procedures at the product and subassembly level.
· Makes any necessary changes to assembly documentation using red line process.
· Recommends process improvements to increase overall efficiency and to clarify areas of uncertainty during system builds.
· Assists Manufacturing Team in troubleshooting existing product lines.
Requirements:
· Nitec or Diploma in electronics / engineering with at least 3 years of manufacturing experience in electromechanical assemblies.
· Must be able to read and understand manufacturing documentation including assembly drawings, testing documentation, part drawings, and electronic schematics.
· Knowledge of automation components such as motors, pneumatics, encoders, sensors, and lead screws.
· Good with the hands to handle delicate electronic components.
· Ability to communicate effectively, oral or written.
· Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
· Team player.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,600.00 per month
