Role Overview:
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the digital presence of ASEAN United FC across all digital touchpoints. You will oversee the digital marketing strategy for all four football tournaments, ensuring consistent engagement, visibility, and value for our event sponsors. This role also includes overseeing the social media team, ensuring that they execute the social content strategy effectively, driving growth in followers and fan engagement.
You will work closely with our digital media agency and internal teams to execute SEO, website management, digital campaigns, performance marketing, email marketing, CRM, and ensure successful sponsorship fulfilment across (including local languages) all digital platforms. Your leadership will ensure that all digital assets are optimized to provide the best fan experience and value to our partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Digital Strategy & Execution:
    • Lead the digital marketing strategy for ASEAN United FC, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and fan engagement goals.
    • Manage digital campaigns across all touchpoints (social, website, email) for each of the four football tournaments.
    • Oversee the execution of performance marketing efforts, including paid search, display, and social media ads, ensuring campaigns drive ROI and align with event sponsorships.
  • SEO & Website Management:
    • Oversee SEO strategy and implementation to enhance visibility and organic traffic across ASEAN United FC’s website and other digital platforms.
    • Manage the digital assets on aseanutdfc.com, ensuring the platform is up-to-date with the latest content, live statistics, match schedules, and other key tournament information.
    • Ensure the website is optimized for both desktop and mobile audiences, providing an engaging, user-friendly experience
    • Ensure the website supports multilingual functionality, offering content in English, Vietnamese, Thai, and Bahasa Indonesia to cater to a diverse regional audience.
  • Social Media Oversight:
    • Oversee the social media strategy and collaborate with the social media team to execute plans that drive follower growth, engagement, and fan community development.
    • Work closely with the social media team to ensure content creation and strategy align with broader marketing campaigns and sponsorship requirements.
    • Monitor and optimize social media content, performance, and fan interactions across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
  • Email Marketing & CRM:
    • Drive email marketing campaigns for tournament updates, fan engagement, special offers, and promotional content to increase fan loyalty and participation.
    • Oversee the CRM system to ensure effective segmentation, personalization, and communication with fans, driving both engagement and retention.
  • Sponsorship Fulfillment & Revenue Generation:
    • Collaborate with the sponsorship team to develop and execute digital strategies that provide value to sponsors, ensuring fulfillment of sponsorship assets across all digital channels.
    • Monitor sponsorship delivery and performance metrics, making recommendations for optimization.
    • Work with sales and marketing teams to develop additional digital revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Collaboration with Digital Media Agency:
    • Work closely with the external digital media agency to implement digital marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with internal goals and objectives.
    • Manage relationships with the agency to ensure campaigns, content, and digital initiatives are executed effectively and on time.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, CRM, etc.) to track the performance of digital marketing campaigns and social media efforts.
    • Provide regular reports to leadership on the effectiveness of digital marketing activities, fan engagement, and sponsor performance.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of digital marketing specialists and social media managers.
    • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and sponsors to deliver cohesive marketing campaigns and maximize impact.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on performance marketing, SEO, social media, email marketing, and content management.
  • Proven experience managing digital marketing campaigns with measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for fan engagement.
  • Experience with website management tools, CRM platforms, and marketing automation systems.
  • Experience working with sponsorships and understanding how to drive value through digital platforms.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Passion for football, with a deep understanding of the ASEAN football community and fanbase.
