[What the role is]
As part of the Stakeholder Engagement section within the Safety Policy and Planning Division (SPP), you will play a significant role in the promotion of aviation safety, to support aviation safety regulation.
You will be part of a dynamic team that develops and drives CAAS’ aviation safety promotion strategy for the Singapore aviation sector, with a view to strengthening positive safety culture in the sector and internalising a safety mindset among aviation workers.
[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities
You will support management in developing plans and implementing activities to engage stakeholders effectively on aviation safety matters. You will have opportunities to lead projects which will require you to formulate and drive strategy, implementation and outreach; one of your key responsibilities will be to manage and promote Singapore’s aviation safety voluntary reporting system - Tell Sarah, as part of efforts to strengthen safety culture.
Your work will involve collaborating with colleagues in safety regulation, corporate communications and other relevant areas to leverage internal and external outreach modes to communicate key safety messages and execute engagement activities. You will also drive enhancements to the outreach network and capabilities to deepen engagement with industry stakeholders on safety matters.
As part of your work, you will be part of the organising team for key large-scale safety forums (e.g. CAAS Aviation Safety Forum), and have opportunities to engage industry, management, and colleagues from various fields.

Requirements
Pre-requisites
- Experience in the fields of aviation, safety culture and/or voluntary safety reporting
- Training in any of the relevant disciplines stated above
- Experience in safety promotion, stakeholder engagement, and/or communications
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to influence and drive win-win goals across key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Able to perform effectively both independently to helm projects, as well as in teams to drive collaborations with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong motivation and desire to achieve excellence
