
CyberSecurity Tools Engineer
This individual will play a critical role in managing the lifecycle of security tools like install,
update, patch, maintain security products of software installed on appliance (or)
windows/linux. Also, support in evaluations and deployments of new security tools. A
candidate is expected to have experience in multiple security tool categories.
Key Responsibilities:-
• Install, upgrade, patch, migrate, and maintain security products across Windows,
Linux, and containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Manage software-based, appliance-based security tools through their full lifecycle.
• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate, test, and implement security solutions—from
proof of concept through production deployment.
- Ensure seamless integration of security tools into existing operations and
workflows, with minimal disruption.
- Support change management processes, ensuring all deployments follow
governance, documentation, and rollback standards.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and runbooks in alignment with
organizational standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned security technologies, providing expert
level troubleshooting and strategic input.
- Proactively identify and resolve design and functionality challenges with minimal
supervision.
- Work cross-functionally with IT, operations, and business units to minimize
deployment impact and maximize value delivery.
Required Experience and Skills:-
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Security Engineering or a similar technical
cybersecurity role.
• Proven experience in managing the lifecycle (installation, patching, maintenance,
migration) of security products in diverse environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with a broad set of cybersecurity tools, including:
o EDR, XDR, MDR
o PAM, AM
o DLP, SIEM, UEBA
o WAAP, IDS/IPS
• Experience integrating security tools with enterprise infrastructure and operations.
- Solid understanding of system and network security, identity and access
management, and incident response.
- Familiarity with DevOps or containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) a

Preferred Qualification:
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CEH, GCIA, GCIH).
• Experience working in large enterprise or hybrid cloud environments.
- Prior experience working in Financial industry is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively
across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
