Assistant, Logistic cum Inventory
As an Assistant, Logistic cum Inventory, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth logistics operations, accurate documentation, and efficient inventory coordination. Your responsibilities include managing delivery orders, tracking shipments, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining compliance with trade regulations.

Responsibilities:
Documentation & Order Processing

  • Generate and manage Inter-Company Delivery Orders (IDO), Sales Orders (SO), Delivery Orders (D/O), Invoices, and Letters of Credit (LC).
  • Maintain accurate and organized records, ensuring timely filing and documentation.
  • Verify shipment details and ensure compliance with company policies and trade regulations.

Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate export/import shipments, ensuring adherence to international trade laws and customs requirements.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams to arrange and track shipments.
  • Monitor shipment status and provide real-time updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Book and manage loading bay schedules with office building management.

Supplier & Delivery Management

  • Work closely with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules and ensure on-time order fulfillment.
  • Resolve logistics delays or discrepancies proactively to minimize disruptions.
  • Maintain clear communication with vendors, transporters, and warehouse teams.

Inventory & Administrative Support

  • Assist in inventory tracking and reporting discrepancies.
  • Support ad-hoc logistics and administrative tasks as assigned by superiors.
  • Ensure all logistics records are up-to-date and audit-ready.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years in logistics coordination, shipping documentation, or inventory support.
  • Familiarity with export/import processes, freight forwarding, and customs procedures (preferred).
  • Experience using ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and logistics software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on approach.
  • Team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
