We are looking for a dynamic HSEQ Lead, to join our team and lead our HSEQ initiatives for OWC and Longitude.

What will you be doing?
As our HSEQ Lead, manage the deployment and ensure the effective implementation of our Group Policies, Procedures, and Guidance while ensuring compliance to ABL Management System / ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 / ISO 14001, OHS legal and other requirements are observed throughout all locations. In addition, you will:
- Develop, implement, and oversee HSEQ policies and procedures in alignment with Group directives; ensure OHS legal compliance across all locations.
- Monitor and evaluate subcontractor and supplier performance; ensure adherence to HSEQ standards and client requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, KPI reporting, and performance monitoring; coordinate audits, safety meetings, and management reviews.
- Manage client feedback, incidents, and complaints; support investigations and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure timely follow-up on audit actions and continuous improvement initiatives; assist with HSEQ plans and risk assessments for projects.
- Deliver HSEQ induction and training for staff and subcontractors; maintain accurate records.
- Monitor and report on HSEQ objectives and KPI performance to senior management.
- Conduct safety inspections, establish OHS requirements, and manage emergency response arrangements for regional offices.
- Complete assigned tasks and other duties as needed.
The position will be based in the APAC region (open for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Australia, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan). The candidate should have the right to live and work in the mentioned location. Flexibility to working hours and ability to travel on short notice, both locally and globally, for extended periods to support project needs.
What are we looking for?
Ideally you will have comprehensive expertise in HSEQ regulations and standards. Additionally, you should excel in managing HSEQ compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of safety and quality. You should also have the following:
- Internal Auditor training & proficiency in ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001.
- Expertise in HSE & Quality systems, current legislation, and auditing.
- Minimum of 3 years in a relevant role.
- Strong team player with self-motivation and energy.
- Innovative thinker and skilled in concise, clear report writing.
- Effective interaction across all organizational levels, both independently and collaboratively.
- Proactive, results-focused, and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
Desirable:
- Lead Auditor Training or equivalent audit experience in the marine and offshore industry.
- Proficient in SharePoint applications and experienced with Integrated Management Systems.
- Strong background in Marine/Offshore and Renewable energy sectors.
- Experience in delivering workplace training and confident speaking to small and large groups in both in-person and online settings.
- In-depth knowledge of the marine/offshore industry and relevant regulations.
