Be part of the technology leadership team of Wealth Management and Private Banking domain. You will partner with Executive stakeholders to design overall tech direction, advise and influence on technologies and complex integration strategies, and Al enablement

You will oversee the migration of modern tooling, decommission outdated systems, building a scalable, reliable, and secure ecosystem; implement solutions to complex group wide problems, enabling efficiencies and smart automation.

And foster a strong culture of DevSecOps and full-cycle engineering, empowering engineers to design and build thoughtful, creative solutions for our customers.

In this role, you will support the crew to deliver an ambitious vision against our customer objectives: to create enduring technology differentiation with unmatched digital experiences built on decoupled, resilient, and reliable technology foundations.

Reporting lines: You will be reporting to the Technology Domain Lead of Wealth & Private.

This role is an individual contributor and you'll be more than a technology leader. You'll have the platform and influence to build, shape, and scale the future of our tech ecosystem.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • As a matured Big Thinker, you'll work closely with senior leaders to build Tech Strategy for the Wealth and Private domain

  • Creating, developing, installing and implementing tools required to support the operational management (including security) of software applications and systems

  • Testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications including technical security controls perform to specification

  • Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods, and using software engineering to develop scalable and sustainable improvements

  • Partner with product and engineering stakeholders at all the different levels to influence and educate our awesome builder and operational teams on SRE philosophy, principles, practices, and benefits from Engineer to EGM Levels

  • Be an ambassador for modern engineering and reliability practices, sharing information and supporting others in their learning, and building strong and energetic team cultures.

  • Take great delight in designing, building, and delivering infrastructure code, or services to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of our inter for customer-facing services

  • You'll enjoy every opportunity to perform deep dives into both systemic and latent reliability issues; partnering with software and systems engineers across the organization to produce and roll out fixes

  • Provide leadership to mentor other Engineers, sharing your best practices and hard-earned learnings for tackling issues across the entire stack; hardware, software, application, and network

Essential Skills:

  • Adept in elevating technology ecosystems in large complex organisations, with deep hands-on expertise across software & platform engineering, architecture, cloud, and Al integration

  • Self-assured influencers, with a history of shaping C-suite thinking

  • Bold and creative in your platform modernisation strategies, leveraging Al (GenAl/Agentic Al) based solutions to build smart automation and efficiency

  • Have a technology product mindset and expertise, with a passion for delivering large scale impact

Education Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science / Information Technology.
