Grain is growing quickly, and so is our Sales Team. We’re looking for an experienced VP of Sales to drive our team to greater heights and lead our team into the future. If you believe in creating magic for customers, have high standards and possess a strong drive for results, we want to hear from you.

You will:

Be responsible for leading and scaling a high-performing and best-in-class Sales Team. You will manage a team of more than 15 Sales Representatives, Coordinators and Customer Care Executives, and be directly accountable for delivering consistent, predictable revenue growth across the B2B segment. Key responsibilities include:

• Driving the team to consistently exceed monthly B2B sales targets.

• Monitoring performance and pipeline metrics closely to ensure predictable sales outcomes.

• Building a rigorous, ongoing sales training and coaching program that sharpens sales acumen and customer engagement skills.

• Raising the bar on talent: hire, coach, and retain top-performing Reps and Coordinators.

• Championing a culture of excellence, customer obsession, and continuous improvement.

• Instilling strong sales discipline, clear accountability, and relentless focus on results across the team.

• Owning and evolving sales processes, tools, and commission structures to drive clarity, performance, and alignment with company goals.

• Partnering cross-functionally with Storytelling, Fulfilment, Production and Food Product teams to align sales efforts and accelerate growth.

We're looking for someone with:

Leadership and experience

• A proven track record with 5+ years in Sales leadership roles, driving growth and team performance.

• Demonstrated success in scaling and managing sales teams, ideally in fast-moving or service-focused industries.

Sales excellence

• Skill at building high-velocity, high-conversion sales processes.

• Strong command of performance metrics and sales funnels; data-informed decision maker.

Highly effective people leadership

• Ability to hire, coach, and develop A-players.

• Deep experience in motivating and retaining talent through clear expectations, growth opportunities, and a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Customer obsession

• Passion to go above and beyond to understand and create magic for customers.

• Sales strategies around solving real customer pain points.

Execution and grit

• Relentless drive for results — sharp focus on targets, timelines, and accountability

• Tenacity, especially when facing setbacks.

• Urgency and resourcefulness, achieving more with less.

Strategic thinking

• Ability to zoom out and set direction, while still diving deep into day-to-day sales conversations and ops.

Operational excellence

• Highly organised, able to plan, prioritise, and execute with discipline.

• Fast learner who can quickly absorb new information and adapt to changing market conditions.

Cross-functional collaboration

• Strong team player who builds trust and alignment across departments.

What’s in it for you:

• Work with a fast growing, at the same time, lean and mean team, to make real world impact.

• Have a lot of ownership and drive your own results and progression.

• Smart people who sweat the details and push for the highest standards.

• Training, mentorship, buddies, in-house programs to help you grow.

• Other benefits include a competitive compensation package and birthday leave.

You should include these in your application:

• CV or LinkedIn profile

• Tell us about a time you had to work on a highly challenging task. How did you overcome it?

• What motivates you?

• What's your favourite food and where do you get it? Why?
