Lab Technician (1.5-month Fixed AWS!) #EntryLevel #JurongIsland #NJH
Purpose:
To support the analysis by utilizing various lab equipment such as Gas Chromatograph and analysers for Oxygen, NOX, HCl, moisture etc. Issue Certificate of Compliance (COC) or Certificate of Analysis (COA).
Specialty Gas (SG) Plant - by performing analysis of Pure and Mixture gases, including Medical grade Nitric Oxide 1000ppm balance Nitrogen, raw material etc.
Onsite Plant - by performing analysis of solid/liquid samples
Job scope:
- Adhere to safety rules and follow safety procedures.
- Conduct daily analysis on raw materials and finished products, working with analysers such as Gas Chromatography (GC), Wet Chemistry and others.
- Preparation of Certificate of Conformance/Analysis (COC/COA)
- Maintain proper records and documentation of the daily laboratory operations.
- To fully understand and strictly follow Linde, ISO & GMP requirements/standard for day-to-day laboratory activity.
- Ensure analaysis of Medical mixture gas - NO 1000ppm balance Nitrogen gas fully compliance to GMP requirements.
- Ensures that the workplace is safe and tidy by carrying out daily housekeeping of the laboratory.
- Carry out routine and/or ad-hoc calibration/maintenance of the laboratory equipment.
- Troubleshooting of laboratory equipment issues as necessary.
- Preparation of samples (cylinders) for analysis.
- Any ad hoc task related to laboratory assigned by Line Manager.

PGP Sales, Production, Technical, CSC & Distribution team
Requirement:
- Diploma / Degree in Chemical Engineering, Science or any other related field
- 1 year(s) of working experience in laboratory environment;
- Those without experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
- Safety conscious.
- Good communication skills.
- Result orientated.
- Experience in the use of GC, Wet Chemistry or NO/NOx analyser will have an added advantage

- Working Hours: 8.30-5.30pm / Mon to Fri
- Transport Pickup: Lakeside MRT (morning 7.45am & 7.55am, evening 5.35pm & 5.45pm)
- Site Allowance: $250
- Completion Bonus: 1.5 months
- Annual Leave: 14 days per annum
- Medical Benefits: Up to $1000 claims per annum
