Summary of Job:

The Executive / Senior Executive is responsible to manage the day to day operations of Community Partnership including the implementation of priority fundraising strategies and campaigns that generate operating revenue and the generation of low cost fund-raising revenue by successfully executing organizational fundraising strategies. He/she is responsible to build relationships with individuals, business and community organizations advancing the Foundation’s profile and engage, support and coach volunteers to maximize their fundraising effort.

Key Responsibility Areas

1. Create Value for Make-A-Wish

· Maximise fund raising through identifying opportunities, building/maintaining relationships, stewarding donors and securing donations.

· Maintain stewardship of existing relationships and cultivate new donor relationship.

· Support giving programmes including recurring donations, legacy giving, grant applications, online donations, marquee events among others.

· Develop new giving programmes as well as recognition programmes to sustain partnership.

· Ensure the successful completion of priority fundraising campaigns referencing the established best practices.

· Collaborate with the volunteer manager to manage volunteers for any activations.

· Provide directions to volunteers in event and fundraising logistics.

2. Represent the Foundation at events and promotions as directed

· Ensure that events and projects are consistent with the Foundation’s mission, use of name and event guidelines.

· Keep abreast of corporate partnerships, policies, guidelines, promotional opportunities and resources as they relate to the fund-raising program.

· Maintain appropriate records. These include budgets, revenue tracking, proposal forms and licensing agreements, key contact and a detailed description of the implementation of the event/project

· Ensure all fundraising projects are compliant to the charity code of governance and all regulatory requirements.

· Other relevant ad-hoc activities that may be assigned by the Director or CEO.

Requirements

Experience:

· At least two years of professional working experience in fundraising / event management.

· Experience in local markets (e.g. Singapore) and social service sector preferred.

Qualifications:

· Degree or Diploma holder in any related discipline.

Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities):

· Event management for fundraising activities including marquee events.

· Excellent communication skills to deliver persuasive presentations and connect with the audience.

· Interpersonal skills to motivate colleagues and volunteers.

· Organizational skills to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

· Teamwork to work effectively, successfully and professionally with colleagues, stakeholders, beneficiaries, and vendors.

Official Working hours:

· 8:30am – 5:30pm

· Flexi Work Arrangement (Work From Home) is in place upon confirmation.

· Candidate may be required to work on weekends for events that fall outside weekdays.
