Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to understand demand fluctuations.
- Assess production capacity and constraints to optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with production teams to balance workloads and ensure timely deliveries.
- Conduct MRP analysis to determine raw material and component requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Work closely with external suppliers to coordinate the delivery of raw materials and components.
- Negotiate lead times and quantities to align with production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover.
- Ensure timely order fulfilment by coordinating with production teams and addressing any bottlenecks.
- Communicate production schedules to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the production planning function.
- Implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, production, and logistics teams to align production plans with overall business goals.
- Communicate changes in production schedules to relevant stakeholders.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production planning.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Identify potential risks to production schedules and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop contingency plans for unforeseen disruptions.
- Ad-hoc duties by superior or management.
Job Requirements:
- Possess minimum Diploma in Business/Manufacturing/Production Management or equivalent with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience
