Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to understand demand fluctuations.
  • Assess production capacity and constraints to optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with production teams to balance workloads and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Conduct MRP analysis to determine raw material and component requirements.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Work closely with external suppliers to coordinate the delivery of raw materials and components.
  • Negotiate lead times and quantities to align with production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover.
  • Ensure timely order fulfilment by coordinating with production teams and addressing any bottlenecks.
  • Communicate production schedules to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the production planning function.
  • Implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, production, and logistics teams to align production plans with overall business goals.
  • Communicate changes in production schedules to relevant stakeholders.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production planning.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Identify potential risks to production schedules and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Develop contingency plans for unforeseen disruptions.
  • Ad-hoc duties by superior or management.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess minimum Diploma in Business/Manufacturing/Production Management or equivalent with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience
