We are looking for an experienced IBM FileNet Applications Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise content management (ECM) solutions using IBM FileNet P8. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing workflows, custom applications, and integrations using FileNet APIs, Java, and web technologies. They will work closely with business analysts, architects, and system administrators to implement scalable and efficient ECM solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement applications using IBM FileNet P8, including Content Engine, Process Engine, and IBM Content Navigator.
  • Develop custom workflows using IBM Case Manager and IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW).
  • Work with FileNet APIs (Java, REST, CMIS) to build integrations with enterprise applications.
  • Develop and maintain UI components using IBM Content Navigator and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of FileNet applications.
  • Integrate FileNet solutions with third-party applications such as SAP, OpenText, and email systems.
  • Develop and optimize stored procedures and queries for databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
  • Collaborate with system administrators on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of FileNet environments.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, access controls, and document retention requirements.
  • Document technical designs, development processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in IBM FileNet application development.
  • Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with IBM FileNet APIs, including Java APIs, CMIS, and RESTful services.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Content Navigator customization.
  • Knowledge of database management (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) and query optimization.
  • Experience with WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for FileNet applications.
  • Understanding of document management, records management, and workflow automation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IBM FileNet certification.
