The Medical Scientific Affairs Liaison serves as a bridge between scientific research and commercial and business development teams, ensuring scientific integrity while supporting product development, regulatory strategies, and external stakeholder engagement. They provide medical and scientific expertise and training to internal departments and external healthcare professionals (HCPs).

This role may involve projects requiring collaboration with colleagues in different countries.

Key Responsibilities:

Scientific Expertise & Support

  • Provide medical and scientific input into product development, clinical trials, and regulatory submissions
  • Support the development and review of promotional and educational materials for scientific accuracy

Medical Communication

  • Create and disseminate accurate and balanced scientific materials for internal and external audiences
  • Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to ensure messaging aligns with scientific evidence

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a key point of contact for key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and academic researchers
  • Organize and attend advisory boards, scientific symposia, and conferences

Clinical Research Support

  • Assist with the design and implementation of clinical trials and investigator-initiated
  • Monitor clinical developments and publications related to the therapeutic area

Compliance & Ethics

  • Ensure all medical activities comply with applicable laws, regulations and company
  • Train internal departments and external HCPs on product subject matter with appropriate scientific messaging and medical compliance

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. Hons in life sciences, biology, chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, nursing, M.B.B.S. or equivalent
  • Post-Graduate Degrees (e.g. Ph.D., M.D., Pharm.D., etc.) would be an added advantage to the application
