
Maintenance Technician (Facilities Management)
Seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day operations and upkeep of the building facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in plumbing, M&E systems, fire safety installations, and general building maintenance.
- Carry out sanitary and plumbing works, including maintenance of fittings (e.g. floor/waste traps, pumps, valves, drainage, and water storage systems).
- Read and log utility meter readings (water and electricity); monitor usage.
- Clear minor chokages in sanitary systems (sewer, soil, stormwater).
- Service and maintain M&E systems, including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and switchboards.
- Perform general building maintenance (e.g. doors, tiling, masonry, ceilings, partitions, toilet fixtures, and joinery works).
- Conduct scheduled whitewashing and painting of equipment and fixtures.
- Maintain fire protection systems (e.g. pumps, sprinklers, control valves, fire extinguishers, alarm gongs).
- Supervise and assist contractors on reinstatement and repair works.
- Troubleshoot control circuits, air distribution systems, and BAS/FAS systems.
- Set up temporary facilities for marketing and promotional events.
- Patrol and inspect plant rooms and service areas as part of the PM program.
- Attend to tenants service requests promptly.
- Support installation of car park signage, floor markings, and temporary leak repairs
Requirements:
- NITEC or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or equivalent.
- At least 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in building or facilities maintenance.
- Good knowledge of M&E systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Team player with a proactive and hands-on attitude.
