The Role

Paula’s Choice Singapore SEA is seeking a self-motivated, data-driven, and strategically minded Data Analyst Manager SEA to join our dynamic Southeast Asia team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, SEA, this individual will own and lead all analytics initiatives across DTC, Marketplaces, and Retail channels.

This is a pivotal role responsible for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business performance. You'll be the go-to person for everything data-related: partnering with cross-functional teams including Brand Marketing, Email Marketing, Finance and Commercial Teams to align on KPIs, optimize customer journeys, promotions monitoring and maximize marketing ROI.

We’re looking for someone passionate about data with a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise, and a hands-on approach to both strategic and tactical work - ready to drive our regional analytics roadmap forward.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Ownership: Manage, analyze, and interpret consumer data across DTC, Marketplaces, and Retail to ensure a single source of truth for customer metrics and KPIs.
  • Dashboard Development & Reporting: Design and maintain Power BI dashboards; deliver recurring performance reports and ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions.
  • Customer Insights: Conduct deep dives into purchasing patterns, preferences, and behavior to identify key customer segments and opportunities for personalization.
  • Promotions & Pricing Analytics: Partner with DTC and Finance to evaluate promotion effectiveness, monitor discount performance, and support pricing strategies with competitive insights.
  • Attribution & Channel Optimization: Work with Digital and DTC teams to support marketing attribution modeling and MMM to guide media spend and optimize acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement robust models including customer lifetime value (CLV), churn prediction, and cohort modeling to support strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Marketing, CRM, and Commercial to define goals, monitor performance, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • End-to-End Analytics: Own and execute analytics projects from problem definition to actionable insights and stakeholder communication.
  • CRO & Web Analytics: Lead CRO efforts using session recording, heatmaps, and behavior analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and A/B testing tools like VWO.
  • Data Infrastructure: Build and maintain scalable data pipelines in collaboration with regional and global IT teams, ensuring data quality and integrity across all systems.
  • Global Collaboration: Work closely with Global and APAC data teams to align on standardized metrics, tools, and initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a data analytics or consumer marketing analytics role, ideally in a DTC, e-commerce, or retail environment.
  • Strong command of SQL, Python (Pandas), and Power BI, with expert-level Excel skills.
  • Comfortable with web analytics and behavioral tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, MS Clarity) and A/B testing platforms (e.g., VWO).
  • Experience in customer segmentation, lifecycle and churn modeling, loyalty analytics, and campaign ROI measurement.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience partnering across DTC, Finance, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex findings for cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments, with a hands-on mentality and problem-solving mindset.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Shopify apps such as RetentionX, Smile.io, and Klaviyo for customer data analysis, segmentation, and campaign performance tracking
  • Familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark, and Microsoft Azure is a strong plus.
  • Working knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Exposure to direct marketing, catalog campaigns, and CRM analytics
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies and campaign measurement frameworks
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative, lead new analytics projects, and drive adoption of MarTech tools across teams

Our culture is the result of our behaviours, our personal commitments, our willingness to collaborate, listen and learn. If you recognize yourself in our values, you will feel at home at Paula’s Choice:

Each of us is powerful on our own, but together we are unstoppable.

Build Trust: We set the standard for skincare, transparency, and shared knowledge.

Be Bold: We lead through innovation and disrupting the status quo.

Act with Kindness: We operate out of respect and care for our customers, our colleagues, and the planet.

Create Community: We build a welcoming and inclusive community with a culture of growth and empowerment.

Do you recognise yourself in the description above and do you enjoy working in a dynamic and informal work environment? Then we’d love to get to know you and hopefully welcome you to join our enthusiastic team soon (yes we move fast, also in our recruitment!). We look forward to receiving your Curriculum Vitae.
