Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Interaction & Support
  • Attend to walk-in and call-in customers regarding general banking enquiries, product information, and transaction assistance.
  • Assist customers with account opening, account maintenance, ATM card and internet banking services.
  • Provide guidance and support for digital banking services and self-service machines.
  • Resolve customer issues effectively and escalate complex cases to appropriate departments when necessary.
  1. Transaction Handling
  • Perform over-the-counter banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and remittances.
  • Ensure all transactions are processed in compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Verify and validate documentation required for service requests and account operations.
  1. Relationship Management
  • Provide high-quality service to strengthen customer relationships and promote customer retention.
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and refer customers to relationship managers or sales teams for appropriate banking products (e.g. loans, credit cards, investment services).
  • Follow up on customer queries and ensure timely resolution to enhance customer satisfaction.
  1. Administrative & Compliance Duties
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Comply with all bank policies, procedures, and guidelines including KYC, AML, and data protection requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and audit-related documentation as needed.
  • Participate in service training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and operational changes.
  1. Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
  • Collaborate with branch colleagues and other departments to deliver consistent and seamless customer service.
  • Contribute to process improvement by providing feedback on customer service challenges and suggesting solutions.
  • Participate in team meetings and training to enhance service delivery and performance.
