Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction & Support
- Attend to walk-in and call-in customers regarding general banking enquiries, product information, and transaction assistance.
- Assist customers with account opening, account maintenance, ATM card and internet banking services.
- Provide guidance and support for digital banking services and self-service machines.
- Resolve customer issues effectively and escalate complex cases to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Transaction Handling
- Perform over-the-counter banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and remittances.
- Ensure all transactions are processed in compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Verify and validate documentation required for service requests and account operations.
- Relationship Management
- Provide high-quality service to strengthen customer relationships and promote customer retention.
- Identify potential sales opportunities and refer customers to relationship managers or sales teams for appropriate banking products (e.g. loans, credit cards, investment services).
- Follow up on customer queries and ensure timely resolution to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Administrative & Compliance Duties
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions and transactions.
- Comply with all bank policies, procedures, and guidelines including KYC, AML, and data protection requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and audit-related documentation as needed.
- Participate in service training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and operational changes.
- Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with branch colleagues and other departments to deliver consistent and seamless customer service.
- Contribute to process improvement by providing feedback on customer service challenges and suggesting solutions.
- Participate in team meetings and training to enhance service delivery and performance.
