Job Description:

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hyperion EPM Application Specialist to design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot our Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Financial Data Quality Management, Enterprise Edition (FDMEE), and Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS) applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience automating data loads, optimizing application performance, and resolving complex technical issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily data validation in Hyperion Planning and promptly report any out-of-balance issues to business users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system defects, implementing effective workarounds as needed.
  • Resolve Hyperion application issues reported by end-users, providing timely and effective support.
  • Design, develop, and maintain HFM, FDMEE, and FCCS applications, ensuring seamless data integration and optimal performance.
  • Configure FDMEE application mappings to facilitate efficient data movement from various source GL systems to HFM.
  • Automate data loads from diverse source systems into HFM, minimizing manual intervention and improving data accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain Hyperion Financial Reports for quarterly and year-end reporting requirements.
  • Optimize existing HFM applications to enhance consolidation performance and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain automated processes for server reboots and Hyperion service restarts to ensure system uptime and stability.
  • Automate data extracts and loads within HFM to streamline quarter-end reporting processes.
  • Manage HFM security, generate security reports, and conduct data analysis to identify and resolve out-of-balance data issues following consolidation.

Qualifications:


  • Extensive experience in Hyperion Financial management Application Support
  • Extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining HFM, FDMEE, and FCCS applications.
  • Proven ability to automate data loads and optimize application performance.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Hyperion version 11.1.2.4 is preferred.
