Reporting primarily to the Chief Executive Officer with a functional reporting line to the Group Finance Director, the Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust financial management, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial insights to support the organisation’s growth and sustainability.

Job Role & Responsibilitie

  • Lead all aspects of financial and management reporting, including budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning
  • Provide strategic financial analysis to support business planning, resource allocation, and decision-making across the organisation.
  • Drive cost efficiency and financial sustainability across all centres by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policie
  • Oversee and manage the annual audit process, tax, banking, finance, insurance and corporate secretarial matters, and regulatory reporting.
  • Implement and strengthen internal controls, financial & procurement systems, and reporting processes.
  • Work closely with respective functional teams and centre operations to align financial strategies with business goals.
  • Manage and develop the finance team to ensure high performance, capability growth, and operational excellence.
  • Support engagement with government agencies on reporting and compliance matters, as required.
  • Prepare and present financial slides for the periodic Board of Directors meetings.
  • Any ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent; CPA/CA/ACCA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a finance leadership role.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and process improvement.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Effective leadership and team management skills with a hands-on and collaborative approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-driven, resourceful, and solutions-oriented.
