Job Description
The Head and Neck Cancer Genomics Laboratory (Principal Investigator: Asst. Prof Joshua Tay, MBBS, PhD) at the National University of Singapore is inviting applications for a postdoctoral research fellow. The successful candidate will be involved in the identification of molecular targets in head and neck cancers using novel state-of-the-art genomic techniques, as well as the translation of these findings into therapeutic strategies for patient care. The lab runs a full genomics pipeline, including library preparation, quality control, in-house sequencing and bioinformatic analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with the PI and will be supported by research assistants and clinical coordinators.
Qualifications
- PhD in Biosciences related discipline (e.g. cancer biology, molecular biology, immunology, genetics, etc).
- Driven, motivated and excited about new scientific discoveries.
- Careful, meticulous and keeps clear records.
- Strong writing ability and track record of publications
- Experience with genomic techniques and bioinformatics.
- Experience with in-vitro and in-vivo cancer models will be a plus.
