
Senior Compliance Officer - [Up to $10k + VB]

Oversee and manage the Company’s overall compliance framework, while providing strategic guidance and expert advice to the Board of Directors and senior management on all matters related to regulatory compliance and data protection
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the designated Compliance Officer of the Company.
- Appointed as the Company’s Data Protection Officer in accordance with PDPA requirements.
- Act as the Anti-Money Laundering (AMLO) Reporting Officer, ensuring AML/CFT compliance.
- Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures in alignment with Singapore regulatory standards and the Company’s global policies.
- Proactively monitor and ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal/external requirements, including AMLA, CFT, anti-bribery and corruption laws, sanctions, and data protection regulations.
- Ensure all necessary business licenses, regulatory approvals, and registrations are obtained and maintained.
- Design and implement a robust annual compliance program, including training and awareness initiatives for staff on compliance policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Regularly assess and update internal controls and compliance frameworks to reflect regulatory developments and corporate standards.
- Investigate any instances of non-compliance and provide timely reports and recommendations to senior management and the Board.
- Perform any other compliance-related duties or ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience in a compliance function, or 10 years in a similar internal control-related role.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore’s regulatory environment and global compliance standards, particularly as they relate to the lending or financial services industry.
- Proven track record in developing, implementing, and managing compliance programs, including policy development, risk assessment, and regulatory reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel functions.
- Preferably with prior experience in a financial services or leasing company environment.
