Assistant Manager - (Banking, Fund Finance - Up to $10k + VB)

This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting end-to-end credit and loan operations while contributing to strategic projects and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee credit monitoring processes and ensure effective credit administration
- Assist in the execution of projects and strategic initiatives
- Provide support throughout the deal execution lifecycle
- Strengthen internal controls and risk management practices
- Contribute to team productivity and drive operational efficiency
- Participate in ad-hoc tasks and cross-functional projects within the fund finance domain
- Coordinate loan closings and manage day-to-day loan operations in collaboration with internal back-office and treasury teams
- Conduct ongoing credit monitoring and prepare annual credit rating review reports
- Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and reporting for new and existing clients
- Analyze investor profiles and financials to support the credit approval process for fund finance deals
- Compile internal performance and accounting reports for the Singapore Branch and Tokyo Head Office
- Engage in fund finance project initiatives, assisting with planning and implementation
- Support external and internal audit processes, including follow-up on findings and corrective actions
- Handle additional responsibilities and assignments as required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in loan operations within the financial sector, preferably in fund finance, structured finance, or corporate finance
- Background in loan operations at a financial institution
- Strong analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality credit analysis reports
- Thorough understanding of banking products, services, and organizational culture
- Familiarity with corporate policies and regulatory compliance (credit risk, AML, employment, conduct, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
