Work Location: Within walking distance of Novena MRT / Clarke Quay MRT

Work Hours: 5-day rostered work week, 9-hour shifts (including 1-hour lunch) between 9am and 9pm, Mondays to Sundays

Background:
Our client plays a vital role in gathering ground-level insights that help shape forward-looking policies and programmes. As part of the field operations team, this role supports nationwide initiatives by collecting essential household data directly from members of the public.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-person interviews with individuals across different household types, income levels, age groups, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Build trust and rapport to encourage open conversations and elicit accurate responses.
  • Adapt your approach when faced with resistance or indifference, maintaining professionalism and composure at all times.
  • Accurately capture and record information in accordance with established protocols.
  • Uphold strict standards of confidentiality and integrity in all data handling.
  • Share field insights and feedback to enhance future outreach efforts.
  • Participate in briefings and training sessions to stay updated on data collection methodologies and operational guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in any discipline; prior experience in frontline roles such as customer service, community work, or field-based assignments is advantageous.
  • Willing and able to work evenings and weekends based on rostered schedules.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, confident, articulate, and able to engage a broad spectrum of individuals.
  • Attentive and empathetic listener who can respond sensitively and adapt communication styles when needed.
  • Resourceful and calm under pressure, especially when navigating challenging or ambiguous interactions.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and personal integrity.
