Job Responsibilities:
The jobholder is responsible in performing all administrative, secretarial and operational duties using specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures to achieve patient service quality.
Admission / Discharge / Transfer of patients
Pulling of patient from areas of admission
Assist nursing staff to prepare and coordinate clerical work for patient admission / discharge / transfers (step-down care, Senja etc.) as per hospital policy and procedure
Daily entry of ward charges, patient diets, clinical requirements etc
Administration / Operational Duties
Order re-supply of consumables, when necessary, under direction of nursing staff
Dispatch and retrieve correspondences, forms, documents, mails and specimen
Perform book-keeping duties for medical records, case notes, correspondences, reports, invoices and phone directory etc
Reception
Function as a receptionist who greet visitors, ascertain purpose of visit and direct them to appropriate staff
Handle enquires and requests from external and internal customers, ensuring good visit experiences
Answer, screen and direct telephones calls to appropriate staff
Job Requirements:
Minimum GCE N Levels with 1 year of working experience in customer service
Training will be provided to the candidate with good attitude and no experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with all levels of staff
Strong passion to serve the patients
Willing to work 2 rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
