
Adjunct Lecturers (Health Economics, Management and Policy)
We are currently inviting applications for Adjunct Lecturers with a distinguished track record of effective teaching and rich experience in the realm of Health Economics, Management, and Policy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Your primary role will involve teaching and tutoring in one or more of the following courses:
1. Healthcare data analytics (Part-time Program)
Healthcare data analytics is the application of data analytics and statistics techniques to healthcare data. Students learn how to apply core concepts of data analytics to healthcare examples, and about the implications for the purposes of policy evaluation, design, development and implementation in healthcare. This course is designed to provide an understanding of the management, analysis and interpretation of diverse healthcare data. Students will be exposed to a broad range of topics, including an in-depth exposure to fundamental analytic and biostatistical concepts; a range of different methodologies used to collect data; a variety of techniques to appropriately analyse data; and information on how to assess the results of such analysis.
Selection Criteria
- PhD or Master's Degree (with at least 5 years of Industry Experience) in Health Economics, Management and Policy or related discipline
- Ability to teach R in healthcare data analytics
- Evidence of lecturing skills and a commitment to the delivery of high-quality teaching
- Ability to work cooperatively with academic and professional staff
- Willingness to contribute effectively as a member of a cohesive team
