Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems using Siemens PLCs (e.g., S7-300/400/1200/1500), TIA Portal, and STEP 7.
- Program, test, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for manufacturing, process, and automation projects.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and system architecture drawings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Perform system integration, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), and on-site commissioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation hardware and software.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and reports.
- Provide ongoing support and upgrades to existing control systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
Your qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation, with a strong focus on Siemens PLCs.
- Proficiency in TIA Portal, STEP 7, and Siemens HMIs (WinCC, Comfort Panels).
- Experience with field devices such as sensors, actuators, VFDs, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Profinet, Modbus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning and support as needed.
