Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead full-time initiatives across key domains such as Workplace, Infrastructure, Application, and Cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will possess strong project leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery capabilities. This role may require occasional after-hours support (onsite or remote) during project escalations or critical milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all project stakeholders to ensure effective resource allocation and achievement of key transition/implementation milestones.
  • Lead timely execution of transition preparation activities, including project initiation documents and detailed schedules.
  • Provide comprehensive project status updates and metrics aligned with governance requirements.
  • Develop project approaches, detailed plans, and resource allocations in alignment with business and operational goals.
  • Ensure delivery of key transition components—including Knowledge Transfer, Shadowing, Reverse Shadowing, and Service Takeover—meets all quality, timing, and methodology standards.
  • Conduct regular project reviews with teams and stakeholders to evaluate progress, risks, and issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Escalate project issues and changes in scope as necessary, ensuring transparent communication with relevant parties.
  • Lead readiness assessments and milestone sign-offs after each project phase.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects in alignment with organizational timelines, quality standards, and strategic goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for NEC-designated IT outsourcing accounts, managing the full scope of activities.
  • Apply and adapt NEC’s project management methodologies, tools, and documentation standards.
  • Lead the decommissioning of end-of-life services, ensuring removal of redundant infrastructure and managing operational dependencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 3 years in direct project management.
  • Strong background in Workplace Management, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity is highly advantageous.
  • At least 2 years in IT Managed Services, with a proven ability to manage large teams and simultaneous projects.
  • Experience with Cloud Services, DevSecOps, Agile methodologies, and cybersecurity best practices is a plus.
  • Skilled in strategic planning, risk management, and change control processes.
  • Proficient in the use of project management software and collaboration tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams to deliver project outcomes.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization, including senior and executive leadership.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Self-driven and committed to achieving project and business objectives.
  • Experience in working with government agencies is an added advantage.
  • PMPand ITIL certifications are preferred.
