Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department heads to identify community needs and develop outreach programs accordingly.
- Assist Manager/HOD to create comprehensive program plans, including objectives, strategies, budgets, and timelines.
- Execute outreach programs in accordance with established plans.
- Coordinate logistics, resources, and volunteers for program activities.
- Ensure that programs are delivered efficiently and within budget.
- Foster relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders.
- Engage with community members to gather input and feedback to inform program improvements.
- Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program impact.
- Collect and analyze data to measure program effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
- Prepare regular reports on program progress, outcomes, and challenges.
- Maintain detailed records of program activities and expenditures.
- Provide training and support to program staff and volunteers.
- Organize workshops and capacity-building sessions for community members.
- Ensure programs adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Maintain transparency and accountability in program activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Community Development, Sociology, or related disciplines).
- Proven experience in community development or outreach programs, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of community development principles and best practices, is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to various community locations as needed.
- Adaptable to changes, proactive, dynamic, resourceful, creative, collaborative, self-motivated and a strong desire to excel.
