Responsibilities
- Lead software and product development and ad hoc projects
- Create well-architected and structured solutions
- Review and propose software analysis, software design, code implementation, software integration, module verification and validation
- Lead and deliver software products for integration testing in accordance with software development standard procedures of the Bank’s standards & guidelines
- Prepare and maintain quality technical documentation and software deliverables
- Lead and drive technical discussions and provide solutions based on industry best practices
- Support applications in production - analyze and resolve issues as they arise
Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience in Java/J2EE development with strong knowledge in Core Java (Java 8+) and OOAD
- At least 5 years of experience in big data technology development.
- Hands-on experience of end-to-end design and implementation of complex IT systems
- Experience in: Kafka messaging system; Big Data framework like Storm, Hadoop, Hdfs, Hbase, Ignite; Tools – Maven, GIT CICD, Cucumber, Kibana
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker & Kubernetes/Cloud technologies will be advantageous
- Good knowledge of Flink, Redis, s3, MongoDB is an advantage.
- Solution design using proven patterns, awareness of anti-patterns, performance benchmarking
- Knowledge in test automation framework - TDD/BDD driven development mindset with strong skills in Junit, Mockito and other Unit testing frameworks
- Knowledge on DevOps Practice & Good understanding & working knowledge with Agile/Scrum
- Basic understanding of finance and investment banking
