Job Responsibilities :
- Implement and control health and safety on work sites
- Ensure a safe and tidy working environment is maintained on work sites at all times
- Assess work area prior to starting of work
- Conduct regular site checks to ensure site staff and worker adhere to health and safety regulations
- Maintain and keep proper health and safety records
- Prepare documentation in accordance with Code of Practice and regulation (For example: Lifting Plan, Fall Prevention Plan, Traffic Management Plan, Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures etc)
- Assist in the investigation of all site accidents
- Spearhead WSHE promotion and raise awareness among workers
- Establish and implement Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan
- Attend to Authority/Client meetings, audits and inspections
- Perform other duties assigned by management from time to time
Job Requirements :
- Possess minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work independently and meticulously with high level of motivation
- Strong knowledge of WSH regulations, risk assessments, and safety best practices
- Certificate – Advanced Workplace Safety and Health Level B
- Certificate – Develop Risk Management Implementation Plan
- Certificate – Occupational First Aid Course
- Certificate – WSQ Manage Work At Height
- Certificate – WSQ Supervise Safe Lifting Operations Course
- Certificate – WSQ Manage Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites
- Experience in Solar Photovoltaic system would be added advantage
- Preferably possess own transportation (Motorcycle)
