Job Scope

  • Supervise a team of technicians to install, maintain and repair valve automation equipment and instrumentation systems
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to proactively address issues and minimise downtime
  • Provide technical support and guidance to operators on the proper use and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to source parts, materials and services as needed
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, spare parts usage and system performance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance system reliability and efficiency
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Requirements

  • Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an Instrumentation Technician or Supervisor, preferably in a manufacturing or process industry setting
  • Strong working knowledge of pneumatic and electric valve automation systems, including actuators, positioners and accessories
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of technicians
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis
  • Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with all stakeholders
